The Institute of Chemical Engineering, Polish Academy of Sciences is a research centre established in 1958 on the initiative of one of the founders of Polish process engineering, Professor Tadeusz Hobler. The principal areas of research, both applied and fundamental, include a wide range of problems associated with novel techniques of gas and liquid separations, biotechnology, nanomaterials and reactor engineering.
