Abstract

The basic hydrodynamic parameters of a trickle bed reactor operating at the so-called SLOW MODE of the BASE-IMPULSE periodic liquid feeding were determined experimentally. The experimental data were the correlated depending on the operational parameters of the reactor and physicochemical properties of the liquid phase. The results of the experiments showed that the tested way of the bed feeding with liquid may be advantageous for the processes carried out in such type of reactors.
