Abstract

The results of numerical optimization of volatile organic compound (VOC) removal from gas in the integrated process of low-temperature condensation and adsorption were presented. The calculations were performed for the system 2 propanol nitrogen. The activated carbon (AP3-60 Chemviron Carbon) was used as an adsorbent. Calculations were performed for the following parameters: the initial concentration of VOCs in the gas (C0) 10, 20, 40 and 60 g/Nm3, inert gas flow rate (Gi) 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 Nm3/h. Calculation results showed a minimum of the objective function of optimization (minimum cost). Location of the minimum point depends on the system parameters.
