Impact of the fast changing liquid flow through a bed on the trickle bed reactor hydrodynamics

Abstract
The aim of the present study was to determine the effect of the periodic liquid feeding of the bed of a trickle bed reactor on the values of its hydrodynamic parameters. The measurements were performed for the LIPF FAST regime. The effect of the tested reactor operation manner on the liquid holdup, pressure drop and position of the CSW/LIPF FAST transition line was analyzed.
